Biography

Zaraah hails from the prestigious Italia Conti Theatre School which launched her career from the tender age of 10. Her first major role was appearing in the BBC ‘There’s A Viking In My Bed’ and by the time she was 15, Nickelodeons ‘Girls In Love’

But it was at the age of 17 where she had the nation gripped with her performance as Joanne Jackson in Coronation Street. For two and half years she had the nation gripped with her character taking the audience though touching and at times saucy storylines.
Her next role which saw her play bully Michaela White in Waterloo Road was her most daring character role yet. Zaraah’s performance saw her character throughout three series and continued on to Waterloo Road The Next Chapter.

Zaraah is proud to be the ambassador for the charity Body Gossip, the most inspirational and thought provoking charity dedicated to body image. The charity is supported by Alexandra Shulman, Editor of UK Vogue and Camilla Parker Bowels. Zaraah has also contributed to the Body Gossip book with her own personal story.

Zaraah’s captivating personality and fun nature has seen her appear on various TV programmes and is currently presenting for MTV’s Verge Magazine.

Zaraah has just finished filming a short film, which will be released later on in the year (2011).
